For this tutorial, I will use this picture of Ashley. If you want to use the same one, just right click, and copy.

1. Paste your picture on Paint.NET. Make a selection rectangle, make it the size you want, and put it on the part you want the blog to be on.

Resize the rectangle by clicking on the corener, on the top or bottom of the rectangle, or on either side of the rectangle on the little dot, and dragging it.

2. Once you have the selection where you want it, click the rectangle tool on the toolbar, change the colour to white, full rectangle, and make the transparency to 140. Now, draw the transparent rectangle over the selected rectangle.

You should have a part transparent rectangle in the selected rectangle as shown in the final product.

3. Now, put text, design, what ever you want. Save.
